ARKANSAS – URGENT SCAM ALERT
Another state workforce agency has issued a warning about ongoing phishing scams. The Arkansas Division of Workforce Services issued a statement, providing helpful details for employers and employees alike to help prevent you from being a victim of a phishing scam.
As with all phishing scams, it is important to stay vigilant! Do not click on links in suspicious emails and do not enter personal information unless you are certain you are on an official government website. As a reminder, official emails will only come from email addresses with @arkansas.gov.
The Department also provided a list of the only official websites related to unemployment, which were:
- arkansas.gov – Initial Claims
- arkansas.gov – Weekly Claims
- gov – ID Verification
- arkansas.gov – Job Search
- arkansas.gov – General Website
It is advised to access these websites directly rather than using any email or links to access them, as links could lead to a fraudulent site.
