Florida – Reemployment Tax System New Launch Date Further Delayed
The Florida Department of Revenue’s new system for electronic reemployment tax return and payment services will now go live on August 24, 2026, to allow for additional testing before go live. The following reports are impacted by this transition and must be filed using the new system beginning August 24:
Florida Department of Revenue Employer’s Quarterly Report (RT-6)
Correction to Employer’s Quarterly or Annual Domestic Report (RT-8A)
Florida Department of Revenue Employer’s Reemployment Tax Annual Report for Employers of Domestic Employees Only (RT-7)
To access the new system, update any saved access points, as the current login page will no longer be active. Instead, employers will access the system via https://floridarevenue.com/taxes/eservices/Pages/filepay.aspx.
If your organization files reemployment tax returns by manually entering data or importing a flat file in the current Reemployment Website, your login credentials will not change. However, ensure you have access to those credentials, as you will be required to reenter your account information for first-time access to the new system.
At this time, there will be no changes to the flat file specifications for upload. The state will share additional information if this changes.
