COLORADO – UPDATE POSSIBLE MYUI EMPLOYER+ ACCOUNT ISSUES
According to a recent Colorado Department of Labor and Employment newsletter, the system error which caused notices of account suspension or termination has been resolved. All notices have been recalled and affected accounts have been reinstated.
If your account has not been reinstated, you can request reactivation on the MyUI Employer+ website under “Account maintenance. Please note, no action is required for accounts that no longer need to report wages and can be suspended.
COLORADO – ADDITIONAL SYSTEM ISSUES
While an error causing ACH payments to post incorrectly has been resolved, additional system errors may be preventing appropriate payments and/or application of these payments.
Currently, a system error is preventing payments scheduled for future dates from being completed. A temporary workaround is to ensure you select only the current date to make a payment.
Another system issue is incorrectly applying payments to all penalties first, instead of oldest penalties, oldest interest, and oldest premiums first. Should you encounter this issue, the CDLE has advised that you should submit an inquiry through the MyUI Employer+ for any payments posted incorrectly.
COLORADO – UPCOMING SYSTEM OUTAGES
The Colorado DLE announced that their MyUI Employer+ portal will be inaccessible on Friday, June 14 from 8PM to 10:30PM MDT for maintenance.
TEXAS – ADDITIONAL DISASTER UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE
Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) is now available to individuals who were affected by the recent severe storms, including straight-line winds, tornadoes, and flooding that began April 26 in additional Texas counties. Individuals who lived or worked in Bell, Henderson, and Tyler counties now join those in Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Walker counties who may be eligible for DUA benefits.
Individuals can apply for benefits online through Unemployment Benefit Services or by calling TWC at (800) 939-6631 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Individuals should specify that their applications are related to the damage caused by severe weather. Applications must be submitted by July 16, 2024.
