Thomas & Company team members give back through our Community Outreach Program.  Among others, we are strong supporters of Nashville’s Second Harvest Food Bank, Youth Villages, St. Luke’s Community House and Hands on Nashville.  We are committed to taking care of our neighbors and each other.

Now in its 24th year, Hands On Nashville (HON) Day is the community’s largest annual day of service benefiting Metro Nashville Public Schools. Each September, HON mobilizes thousands of volunteers to complete “done-in-a-day” improvement projects to enhance learning environments and create spaces where students can be happy, healthy and ready to learn.

Volunteers with the Thomas & Company team participated in the Light the Night Walk. Our walkers carried illuminated lanterns – red for supporters, white for survivors, and gold in remembrance of those we’ve lost – over a two-mile distance “to light the dark world of cancer.” All proceeds were donated to the LLS to help research cures and provide treatment for blood cancer patients

This not for profit continues to act as a second wave responder providing footwear and clothing to those in need during times of disaster. Since 2006, Soles4Souls distributed 26 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries and all 50 states. Donation of slightly used shoes we can help create hope and healthy living, help develop sustainable jobs, and help make a cleaner environment. Thomas & Company hosted a shoe drive through 6/30/16. Thomas & Company employees donated about two hundred pairs of shoes to help out Soles4Souls by repurposing gently worn shoes and giving to those in need.
