Pennsylvania Moves to new Debit Card Provider for Unemployment

PENNSYLVANIA – New Debit Card Provider

The Pennsylvania Treasury Department announced that they will begin transitioning to Money Network prepaid debit cards for unemployment benefits on or around March 6, 2023. While this change does not impact employers directly, we wanted you to be aware in case you received any questions from current claimants.  Between February 17 and March 20 anyone receiving benefits will likely receive a paper check mailed to the address they have on file. Funds that are currently on the U.S. Bank ReliaCards will not be transferred and claimants should use those funds until the balance is zero or they can transfer the funds to a personal savings or checking account.
