OHIO – Ohio Supreme Court Hears Arguments Over Ending Federal Pandemic Benefits Early

  • On June 26, 2021, Governor Mike DeWine ended Ohio’s participation in the Federal Pandemic Benefits program stopping the additional $300 per week payment for many unemployed Ohioans 10 weeks early. The Ohio Supreme Court heard arguments this week for and against the Governor’s decision to end benefits early but do not expect to issue a decision for weeks.  We will keep monitoring this case and will issue any information as soon as it is known.
