A recent study has revealed that the SIDES program (State Information Data Exchange System) is quite successful with transmitting separation information to state agencies. The program has saved a significant amount of man hours as well as paper, proving to be a more efficient system than the traditional method of verifying employee unemployment insurance claims. This has been a helpful tool for employers of all sizes, third-party employer reps as well as UI agencies. The National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) is very impressed with the results, calling it a “game-changer” to the integrity of UI claims data.
Thomas & Company is live with every state currently in production, with the exception of Rhode Island and the Virgin Islands, who are working on refining technical issues.
