New Mexico: New Minimum Wage In Effect

By January 3, 2020January 18th, 2022Payroll, Unemployment Tax

The new year brought a new minimum wage in the state of New Mexico, with an increase to $9.00 per hour.  The state tipped minimum wage for 2020 is $2.35 per hour.  Despite the fact that Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, Las Cruces, Santa Fe, and Santa Fe County enforce their own minimum wage, the state will always enforce the highest available rate.  Please see attached posters and visit the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions for more information.  Stay up to date by following NMDWS on social media as well as their YouTube channel.
