Due to the recent severe storms, the Alabama state revenue department has announced a revised deadline for state taxes. The new deadline has been pushed back to July 31. An executive order states the same extended deadline applies to federal taxes as well. It is important to note that you are taking advantage of this storm relief extension when filing. If you are filing online, contact the department. Currently the only county that is eligible for the extension is Lee. We will provide updates if additional counties are added.
